The Texas Medical Board has announced changes to the Corrective Order hearings to more effectively and efficiently process the work done at the Board. Rather than having a set time prior to the hearings, these new hearings will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis.

JUDGE LUCY H. KOH BECOMES FIRST KOREAN AMERICAN CONFIRMED TO BE U.S. DISTRICT COURT JUDGE AND THE FIRST ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN ARTICLE III JUDGE CONFIRMED IN THE GREATER BAY AREA

The U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed The Honorable Lucy H. Koh to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, making her the first Korean American U.S. District Court Judge in United States history and the first Asian Pacific American Article III judge in the 160-year history of the Northern District of California.

Principal attorney for the Lorenzana Law Firm, P.C., Elias Lorenzana, was nominated to serve on the Public Affairs Committee for The State Bar of Texas. HILTON AUSTIN CAUGHT IN LONG LIST OF LEGAL BATTLES

The Lorenzana Law Firm represents the Golden family in a lawsuit against several parties including Hilton Hotels Corporation, Austin Convention Enterprises, Neches Street Partners, The Five Fifty-Five Condominium Association, and the building's developer. The Golden family owns two condos in the Hilton Austin, which have been plagued with water leaks and mold since the day they moved in.

EEOC SUES LEADING NORTH TEXAS AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTOR FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed a lawsuit against Hobson Air Conditioning, Inc., one of the largest air conditioning contractors in North Texas, charging that an employee was subjected to a barrage of sexual remarks, touches, and lewd sexual exposure by her manager during her employment. The Lorenzana Law Firm and its employment law litigation attorneys represent the injured Plaintiff, and are working closely with EEOC prosecuting attorneys on the claim in Federal District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
